Say Good-bye to pimple Marks

Tip 1:

Take a 1 teaspoon of mint leaves, 1 teaspoon of basil leaves, 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt. Put it all in a blender for a few seconds and apply on the pimple marks. Leave it for half an hour or so, and wash. repeat it until the marks are gone.

Tip 2:

Lemons have peeling and bleaching properties. Pat lemon juice over scarred patches with cotton and leave it for as long as you want to, or as long as you are indoors. Lemon renders skin photosensitive so it is best avoided in the sun.

Tip 3:

Sandalwood oil is cooling and helps reduce pigmentation. It can be used as a night renewal oil. Apply over pigmented areas and leave over night. Alternatively, use it during the day instead of a moisturizer. Sandalwood powder mixed with rosewater is also an effective mask to reduce pigmentation.

Tip 4:

Pearl powder is used in many professional beauty treatments to lighten skin color. It can be combined with honey and applied on acne marks to lighten them. Use twice a week and not more.

Tip 5:

Baking soda is abrasive and can help in exfoliating pigmented cells. Mix it with water and allow it to foam in your hand before rubbing it in a circular motion over pigmented areas for a minute, before rinsing off with water. This is an effective alternative to professional micro-dermabrasion treatments.

Tip 6:

Camphor powder mixed with coconut oil is known to be very effective in treating acne marks. Tea tree oil mixed with almond oil is effective in unclogging pores and reducing pigmentation associated with acne. Vitamin E oil applied a couple of times a day also helps to reduce acne marks.

Tip 7:

Virgin coconut oil helps lighten pigmentation. Substitute you moisturizer with virgin coconut oil and use it as and when your skin feels dry. It is very effective in curing most skin ailments. Cucumber juice is a natural cleanser and astringent. It is also known to be effective in reducing acne marks.

Tip 8:

Fruits contain collagen and fruit acid. Collagen helps in maintaining the elasticity of skin. Pulp of fruits like papaya, orange, and pineapple are also effective in treating acne marks. Just smear fruit pulp over the marks and leave for 20 minutes to allow the fruit acid and collagen to work on the marks.
